The Alberta NDP has announced interim changes to its caucus as the party undergoes its leadership race.
MLAs Sarah Hoffman, Rakhi Pancholi, Kathleen Ganley and Jodi Calahoo Stonehouse are the four current candidates vying for the party’s top job, to be determined in June.
The changes to caucus are as follows:
CAUCUS LEADERSHIP TEAM
Christina Gray – Deputy Leader
Heather Sweet – Deputy Whip
CRITIC ROLES
Nagwan Al-Guneid – Critic for Energy and Climate
Amanda Chapman – Critic for Education & Services to Children With Disabilities
Sarah Elmeligi – Critic for Environment and Tourism
Kyle Kasawski – Critic for Municipal Affairs
Dr. Luanne Metz – Critic for Health
The following leadership team members have agreed not to participate in any leadership campaign during the legislative session:
Christina Gray – Deputy Leader & House Leader
David Eggen – Whip
Joe Ceci – Caucus Chair
